The Cooperativa Andaluza Olivarera La Purísima de Priego de Córdoba was born in the heart of Subbética Cordobesa in the year nineteen forty-five as a first-degree agrarian cooperative society. It has a little more than four hectares of its own traditional olive grove which, together with the productions of its more than nine hundred members, add up to an average annual harvest of about fifteen thousand tons of olives of the picuda, hojiblanca and picual varieties, characteristics of the mountain olive grove of the region. These varieties, selected and collected in a traditional way, make this olive juice, one of the most precious oils in the world.
