Aceites Tapia is a family business born, like many others, from the enthusiasm and commitment of an entrepreneur, Mr. Dionisio Aguilera Hinojosa, as well as from the unconditional support of his entire family. This project came to life in January 1993 in Villanueva de Tapia (Málaga) due to the dream of this farmer to produce a superior quality oil as a result of the supervision of the process from the moment of planting and the daily care of the olive grove with the firm commitment and the confidence that the best product can only be obtained if it has been produced taking care of the details from the first link in the chain.

Sincerely caring for our land, passing on a traditional savoir-faire, focusing on hard work, sharing. All these values, passed down by my father, have naturally inspired us to carry on with what he had undertaken, carefully extracting this precious nectar from our artisanal olive tree plantation.

As a family that originated in Lucca, Italy, we come from a long line of cooks (and people who, well, just love to eat). Maybe not the “first” ever … but surely one of the first and rare local female olive farms. Cristina Armato’s sensitivity, grace and enthusiasm seem to transfer to her way of “making” oil, giving it a sense of pleasant lightness, accompanied by the ancient and natural taste of tradition.
