OLIVKO proud to be born in Tunisia, where we have been planting olive trees and trading in olive oil for more than 3,000 years. Our Phoenician ancestors understood very well the importance of the soil and the climate to produce the highest quality of extra virgin olive oil.

Continuing the tradition since 1930, the fourth generation of the Vlassopoulos family, brothers Nikos and Manolis Vlassopoulos, maintain the family olive mill in Zakynthos. Through carefully selected olive harvest produce extra virgin olive oil Epsilon Precious. Epsilon Precious is the essence of the unique variety of Koroneiki olive. It is collected, processed and stored in the modern facilities of the olive mill of the Vlassopoulos family.

Each olive variety produces an oil which expresses the superior quality and the individuality of Paço do Conde in its own unique way.

For over 150 years, our family’s olive trees have been nurtured by the alkaline soils of the remote village of Kour, in northern Lebanon. At an altitude of 450 m, this special land provides the centenarian trees with the proper aeration for root growth, permeability, and high water-holding capacity, producing olives that literally burst with flavor. For generations, our trees have been free of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, which makes our extra virgin olive oil 100% organic. Amid a dreary winter, Luo Qinxue is busy pruning and fertilizing olive trees, exotic variants from Italy.Luo is a technician with the Longnan Xiangyu Olive Development Company in the northwestern Chinese city of Longnan, Gansu Province.

Our olive groves are located near Sparta, Laconia, in a dominant olive growing area, which considers the olive tree sacred, while it is famous for its ideal climatic conditions and excellent natural environment. Our olive products have superior high quality characteristics as they result from our organic production.

NIOÉLIA is an extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) of Koroneiki variety, rich in phenols. Its name comes from the merging of the words “NIO” and “ÉLIA”. “NIO”, in the local dialect of Zakynthos where we come from, means each year’s new olive oil, while “ÉLIA” refers to the ancient, blessed tree which offers us its wonderful juice, the olive oil.
