AL-zyoud automatic olive oil mill was established in 1993. In 2006 another branch with production capacity of 5 ton /hr in eastern rural area of Jordan was established. Our technical and management staff are highly trained with excellent experience.

Our olive groves are located near Sparta, Laconia, in a dominant olive growing area, which considers the olive tree sacred, while it is famous for its ideal climatic conditions and excellent natural environment. Our olive products have superior high quality characteristics as they result from our organic production.

NIOÉLIA is an extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) of Koroneiki variety, rich in phenols. Its name comes from the merging of the words “NIO” and “ÉLIA”. “NIO”, in the local dialect of Zakynthos where we come from, means each year’s new olive oil, while “ÉLIA” refers to the ancient, blessed tree which offers us its wonderful juice, the olive oil.

The Laconiko estate is in the ideal location, due to climatic weather conditions, consisting of 9 months of summer with intense sunshine, drought and the cool Mediterranean ocean breeze.
