From the time of their dynamic great grandfather in Minor Asia to Yiannis’s and Paraschos’s generation, much has changed both in the Lesbos olive oil production business and the Protoulis family. Their goal however, remains the same: to produce olive oil of the highest quality standards with a unique aroma and the distinctive fruity taste of the finest, natural olive juice.

Eleonas’ cooperative is established in 2004. Our main scope is to embrace high quality of our product with environmental awareness, consumer’s safety and producers’ welfare.

Our olive groves are located within the boundaries of the UNESCO World Geopark of Sitia, where you can discover the harmonious coexistence of man and nature. In the mountainous areas of eastern Crete, in the village Ziros, in Sitia, the fruit of the olive tree is born and ripens, bathed in plenty of sunlight and full of the juices and flavors of the Cretan land.

For the production of this exquisite olive oil, the fruit is harvested early, from mid-October to mid-November each year. At this time, the fruit is just beginning to change color from green to violet. At this stage, the olive oil produced has an intense green olive color with a particularly fruity aroma and a slight bitterness in the taste, felt back in our throat.

Established in 2014 by a young entrepreneur, Eftihis Androulakis, PAMAKO is the brainchild of a passionate Cretan who decided to build on a family tradition of several generations with the help of his family and his partner, Dorothea Ritter. We combine tradition with cutting edge technology to produce an olive oil that is exceptional in both taste and quality. Preserving traditional methods of sustainable organic cultivation and processing, we integrate them with the newest technology in order to get the best out of each olive and create a premium extra virgin olive oil.
