The Purpureum oil line is made from 100% canine variety olives. Grinded within 6 hours of harvesting, flavors and aromas remain unaltered, guaranteeing the highest quality and delicacy of the oil. With its characteristic emerald green color with golden reflections, the Purpureum line has a strong flavor and a pleasantly spicy taste.

Maida Arbosana keeps the Jordanian olive oil tradition alive and refreshed. The hard work and dedication of its producers is depicted in this olive oil’s high quality.

Our story started with the introduction of a Spanish olive variety “Arbequina” in 2008, unlike traditional narratives. Utilizing a cold pressed method, we aim to capture the fruitiness of our olives, the flavor, and overall healthy properties.

Maybe not the “first” ever … but surely one of the first and rare local female olive farms. Cristina Armato’s sensitivity, grace and enthusiasm seem to transfer to her way of “making” oil, giving it a sense of pleasant lightness, accompanied by the ancient and natural taste of tradition.

As a family that originated in Lucca, Italy, we come from a long line of cooks (and people who, well, just love to eat).
