At Secolo21 Farm we have returned an ancient citrus grove to its former glory. The grove originally flourished without human intervention, with plants producing natural, high-quality oranges, lemons and tangerines. Not wanting to damage or upset this natural balance, our only intervention has been to prune the plants, manage the soil and to ensure the land is irrigated evenly, especially in the drier areas. Using existing trunks, we have grafted new white and pink grapefruit plants and created an orchard with the most varied, typical selection of fruits on the island.
