For the production of olive oil products we use high quality olives, harvested at the appropriate time using cold-pressed processing of olives, without the interference of water. Voliotis Family is focused on olive oil’s nutritional value which is apparent in it’s aroma, color, taste and thick texture.

The Cooperativa Andaluza Olivarera La Purísima de Priego de Córdoba was born in the heart of Subbética Cordobesa in the year nineteen forty-five as a first-degree agrarian cooperative society. It has a little more than four hectares of its own traditional olive grove which, together with the productions of its more than nine hundred members, add up to an average annual harvest of about fifteen thousand tons of olives of the picuda, hojiblanca and picual varieties, characteristics of the mountain olive grove of the region. These varieties, selected and collected in a traditional way, make this olive juice, one of the most precious oils in the world.

The hojiblanca olive takes its name from the white undersides of its leaves. It is also known as lucetina due to the metallic reflection given off by its leaves when they get hit by sunlight. The richness of their aroma of freshly cut grass and fresh fruit is perfect for enhancing the flavour of oily fish like salmon and tuna.
